What is Twitter ? Twitter is a service to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

You don't have to subscribe to twitter to see the updates but if you do then you can follow 911uk and get notifications of all the updates.

Twitter Tagging - the # Hash Tag

Please use #Porsche911uk #911uk or #NoSubstitute #911ukNoSubstitute

Don't know what Twitter is but have heard a lot about it in news and on forums? Have a read at this wiki article, it sums it up well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twitter

:nooo:

but good luck with it

How is this different from Facebook? Also does this mean it will become an 'also-ran' just like Bebo and Hi5 in a few years to come?

Oh to hell with it, I'll have a go but I flatly refuse to join FaceBox!

Ok, I've got my binoculars out. Now where are the birds............ :eek:ld:

Facebook is cool. No idea what this twitter is all about.

I'm on Twitter (total911) and am following @porsche911uk

Twitter has the potential to be good so long as it doesn't go down the MySpace and FaceBook route of becoming gimmicky and silly. FaceBook was great when it started but is now full of daft quizs about your favourite colour of socks.

Also, avoid Twittering too much, otherwise people will get sick of your posts.

Phil

Twitter entails far less faffing about when compared to Facebook (for which life is too short). Twitter works well on most mobiles too - any device with a browser is enough.

it seems to be a load of rambling looneys .......oh hang on, i have seen this before somewhere :)
