Swiss tuning firm Mansory has come out with a new design package for the current lineup of Porsche Cayenne SUVs. The entire exterior of the Cayenne is transformed by Mansory's new full body kit.
Some changes are very obvious, like the new front apron, with big air intakes. The grille is painted to a metallic silver tone, and underneath is an oversized front splitter with integrated fog lights. In back, a diffuser is built in to the new rear apron, with more than enough room for the big tail pipes. New side skirts increase the width of the car by 40 mm.
New forged aluminum alloy black-paint five-spoke wheels come in two different sizes: 10x22 and 11x23 inches. These wheels were specifically designed by Mansory to keep unsprung mass in check, and thus increase acceleration and stopping distance.
They are tied to new chassis springs which lowers the Cayenne's center of gravity by as much as 35 mm. With their additional sport package, an air suspension can also be tacked on. This lowers the car by 45 mm. The wheels cover up big disk brakes including four-piston calipers.
The refinements did not stop on the exterior. Inside, carbon fiber trim is seen all over, and match with aluminum pedals to maintain a sporting feel. Special stitching is used on the seats, matching the stitches on the instrument panel.
