Do any of you have issues with your keys onyour 997??? My key blade is loose on both my spare and my normal key ... Does anyone know what the fault is... I also remember when looking for a 997 that many cars I saw had a spare key taped... NOW I KNOW WHY !!!

the key blades are held in the fob by means of a spring loaded plastic pin, you need to open it up and have a look to see if they are there...

Sorry to sound stupid... but how do you do it??

The key on my 996 was always a little bit loose, but never caused a problem in over 3 years.......

the casings are just clipped together so you can usually prize them apart with finger nails.. best place to try do this is where the blade comes out...

one tip though try prize it apart with the buttons on the underside as they will fall out otherwise..
