I'm new to 997 ownership, having only had the car a week.

Quite often I'm getting flashes from other drivers implying that my lights are on beam (which they aren't).

Does this happen to you ? Is it common with the super bright Xenons ?

It says they are self adjusting, although from a drivers view point they are great I can see that from another road users viewpoint they might not be. Certainly no need for full beam :?

They are indeed self leveling and need to be by law..
However they can still be out of aim.. thus the flashes.

The HID beam is very sharp beam and can bounce into oncoming traffic, when they first came out nearly everyone was flashing at you...
Majority seem to 'get it' now though

Worth having your alignment checked at the dealers or friendly MOT centre

I get this too.

Although, maybe it could be to do with the fact that we are lower down and think that more people are flashing but really it's there headlights bouncing as they hit bumps in the road :?: and more noticeable from down low. Just a thought.
