Hi all,

The good news - I am loving my 2005 997 C2S Tiptronic 35k miles which I collected last week.

The question - I am disconcerted as when I put the steering wheel on full lock and pull away (when pulling out of my drive for example) I get a knocking noise seemingly from the wheels and/or suspension plus vibration up on the steering wheel. This is especially when cold and in fact I cannot remember it happening when warmed up when everything feels tighter and more comfortable to drive.

I haven't spoken to the Independent Prestige Dealer I bought it from yet though will raise it for feedback.

In the meantime has anyone had similar or know what this might be? Is it serious? Do you have any advice? Having just taken delivery of my dream car I am somewhat concerned as you might appreciate. :?

Thanks all.

Ditto, happens to mine on cold sufaces, generally pulling off the drive. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks a lot guys - feel much better now!!
