While some folk gaze in awe at Porsche's 997 model 911 Turbo, others see raw potential.
The result in TECHART's case is the GTstreet R, packing a pair of ugraded turbochargers, larger inlet pipes and revised intercooler and exhaust systems.
That's enough to boost power from the standard car's 473bhp to a mighty 660bhp – enough for a maximum speed of 214mph, the tuners say. It also shaves a few tenths off the 0-62mph sprint, with TECHART quoting 3.4 secs for a Tiptronic-equipped version.
The GTstreet R features eye-catching aero parts too, with a new bonnet, headlight and mirror trims, revised sill panels and carbon fibre rear spoiler.
The rear gets a carbon fibre diffuser and ducting for the intercooler, with TECHART claiming the mods give perfectly balanced downforce over the front and rear axles.
