Hi,
2005 997 C2S - what is the latest mapping DVD version, and how do I get one without paying OPC prices?
Have looked for other threads, but can't see an answer.
Have looked on ebay, but not confident I'm going to get what I pay for!
Thanks.

I don't think you can buy the updated DVD other than from Porsche. There was a group buy on PCGB recently but even that stopped short because of the price of the upgrade!! It was High £300's if I remember correctly...

There is one way though. ;)

I have the 4.2005 version which came with my 05.06 C2S. (PCM 2.1) I also have the 5.2007 DVD also for PCM 2.1. ;)

lol, mine neither. £400 is a bit harsh for an update isn't it. But hey, that's Porsche for you.

Not sure if it's Atlas maps that do the Porsche Sat Nav, but if you call them direct they direct you to Porsche in any case...

PM Sent. ;)

I've done some digging - Porsche have a monopoly on Navteq upgrade discs for PCM2.x - nobody can sell it to you.

...which means you either pay the OPC price or...

Outrageous - my thought was to ask for a refund on the car on the basis that as I don't exist on the satnav I cant possibly have paid them for the car.
