Newbie......about to offer on a 997 Turbo......advice please

Hi Guys,

In the market just now to buy a 997 Turbo. Have sourced the following car and thought I'd run it by you all to get your views on the spec.

Here goes:

07 Plate
2,500 miles
Black
Two tone - Black/Stone grey
Sports Chrono
6CD
Park Assist
Sunroof
Grey Tint Windscreen
Heated Seats
Electric Seats
Telephone Module
Embossed Headrests
MDSH
1 owner

Price is likely to be c£78k.

My concern is the two-tone leather - should I hold out for a Black/Black car?

Sat Nav?

Personally I would prefer a black/black car I think. :)
 
Good value for such a low-mileage car. Check also for Sat Nav as ResB states, Bose sound system, two tone leather can look good if it's done properly; for me if it lifts the otherwise sombre interior, then I'd go for it. Any pics you can get or a link to th actual car itself? We promise we won't buy it before you!

Good price but SatNav should now be standard? Presumably not an OPC sale?

Manufacturers warranty will be soon expire if an 07 so see if you can have it extended as part of the deal as these cars are not really shifting at the moment.

I have just moved from a Black/Black 996TT to a Meteor Grey 997TT with two tone Black/Grey interior.

As Maxie say the two tone lifts the interior and makes it look much more modern.

A black car is a real pain to keep looking good.....and I was not a fan of cleaning :oops:
 
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm told that Bose and Satnav are std on the TT - the car has both.

I've been wavering over the twotone and have decided to go for what I think may be the safer option at resale time - black/black it is.

I've walked away from the deal on the twotone car (from OPC Leicester) and have just agreed a deal for the following car:
