Not sure whether there is much to discuss here but I thought I'd ask in any case as you never know.

My hugely generous manufacturers warranty runs out on the 4th May 2008 and I need to extend it. I want to make sure I get the right one and one which is as good as the original manufacturers (if one exists that is).

Is there anything I should consider or look out for in my quest to spend even more cash with Porsche?

Thanks all.

There is nothing better than the Porsche extended warranty, so worth renewing

Can't say any fairer than that. :) :thumb:

to add, a vast majority of specialists recommend an OPC warranty and nothing else

which is a surprise considering the UK car market for after market warranties

an extra note on warranty renewals, if you let your existing warranty expire and then renew you car has to go through a 111 point check which OPC's can charge for

so if you are going to renew do it before it runs out

It's a good point already noted so thanks for that. The list of inclusions is shown below having now received the info from my OPC.

Darn TAX, Insurance, Warranty and Tyres and a pre-Ring service all needed at once an before the end of the month. £3,500 bill I can do without. :) Might have to skip the tyres. :)
