Hi Asim,

Thanks for asking ...car is still for sale....I may make the 2S gathering after all 8) 8)

...did not realise selling a 2S would be so painful .....had a few enquiries ....from people who want me to bring the car to them for assessment .....to others who want me to tell them the lowest price I will take over the phone ....agreed a sale ...deposit did not materialise . :?

....never mind must be nice to people who call .....

Maybe it is just me but when looking for a car I star in my own version of Planes .. Trains ...and Automobiles to find the right one ....and then make an offer based on what I see and hear from the owner / seller and an independant validator ....

I think the car is stunning, reasonably rare, a "spec to die for " and will sell ....suspect I need to move it to London..and wait to the Spring .....have you got any space in your garage

Cheers
Kevin

Kevin I could probably find space for it next to mine, and possibly help you sell it as anyone can come and see it and make like for like comparisons from a fellow owner. Could even find a local owner that can join our club!! :D

Wouldnt look at out of place! Mine and paeffmans.

Yes still got all those pics and more but don'tpost them in case it bores folk on here. We never did have that Sept meet, too hard to get everyone's diaries to work.

Kevin - they ARE rare, must be less than 200 of these and probably less than 50 in Ocean Blue!! :D

Bore ... no chance .....have a great picture to add but cannot seem to use the uploader properly.. :x . how do I insert a picture without the frame etc ....help !!!

Hang in there Kevin. Maybe take it off the market and try in the spring? With the nights drawing in and your location, it might be putting off the less commited?

It looks a lovely car, I'm sure it'll go straight away in slightly different circumstances.

Of what I can tell at the moment, car sales are currently very slow. It may well be that you're asking price is wrong but there is absolutley no way that you should be given the run around on a reasonable condition and mileage 993 S.

I've recently sold a car and became quite bored with the "what's your best price?" calls. If anyone is seriously interested, especially in such a rare specialist car, they should want information before viewing. Its only from that point the issue of price is worth discussing.

I'd only expect "on-line" haggling if you were asking a seriously speculative price.

Slightly different I know, but when we have puppies on the way anyone who asks how much they are too early in the conversation has virtually no chance of ever owning one of ours! If they have no interest on what you're selling other than the price, would you trust them to look after it properly - whether it's a car or a pet?

I thought I was the only one who felt any kind of concern that a used car I sold might go wrong .... not sure its quite the same as puppies though ?
