Good little track this and is more challenging than one may at first assume. A number of adverse cambers and blind crests (Duffus dip and the Chicane) make for an interesting lap and making a good exit from Clark's allows you to pile on the power making for an exciting drag up to the hairpin. The two straights aren't especially long but you can see around 120 if you're in a handy vehicle.
A good tip from Ricardo is that you always spin infield at the hairpin. I, purely out of curiosity, have tested this and he is quite correct.
Plus points - excellent surface, interesting undulating layout, BTCC / Superbikes credibility, typically cheap trackday admittance, relatively easy to make a reasonable lap, no sound restrictions.
Minus points - always about 10deg colder than when you left the house, always windy, hot hatch day reputation / driving, Elise / Exige drivers, difficult to make a really good lap.
Overall i'd say it's a good track as it is a lot of fun and usually very good value for money - it's more of a Lotus track than a 911 one though.
