What's this switch for ??

Hi again
There's a 2-way rocker switch, (ie on-off), on my 92 964 C4 Cabrio.

It's on what I would call the gearbox tunnel on a normal car,

If you sit in the drivers seat as normal on a RHD car the switch is between your left knee and left ankle and sits horizontally.

I've tried switching it on an off with the engine running whilst standing still and nothing seems to happen, no lights, alarms, bells and whistles etc

Any clues please ??

I know that this was covered recently on the 964 section of Rennlist Forum, but I can't remember what the answer was, I don't have a cabrio :)

Found the thread thanks on Rennlist.

It seems it is the arm/disarm for the interior motion sensor for the alarm.

So now we know !, tell your mates !!
thanks
Pat.
