997 C2S Average Mileage ?

Has anyone any idea what a dealer would consider to be an average annual mileage on a 997 C2S ?

Normal cars are considerd 12K anually I think & diesels a little higher.
 
It was suggested to me that 600 miles a month was average Porsche mileage.. mind you I was trading in :?

June glass book mileage -

56 (2007) plate - 5k
06 (2006) Plate - 8K
55 (2006) plate - 9K
55 (2005) plate - 11K
05 (2005) plate - 14K
54 (2005) plate - 15k
54 (2004) plate - 17k

Works out be aprox 8k first year with 6k for each year after
 
excellent!

So i have done 3,333 as of today in 3 months. need to slow up a bit.
 
I'm levelling out now due to the weather, I drive it in the wet, just nowhere to go at the moment with all the shows being washed out...

One month in I had the same mileage as yours Jamie :lol:

Andi, i've got nothing but admiration for you. If you've got it, flaunt it. Don't see the point in buying a top bit of kit like that and keeping it stuck in the garage. I'm the same. I got a C2S. Had it 9 months and clocked 20,000 miles but this is the best bit.....I was working offshore half the time. Drrrrrriiiiive man.....just drive!
 
Still love it!

I live up in the hills so drives for no reason are still possible.

My poor 2004 Boxster S had 86,000 in two years! :twisted:
 
Not sure how you only do 6k per year :shock: :shock:

I've done nearly 2k in 4 weeks, don't you guys like driving yours.

Dunno... I've done 10k in 6 months

The way I see it, the dealers shaft you whatever you do, the incremental difference between a book miles car or a low miles car or a high miles car isn't huge enough to justify having the thing sitting in the garage gathering dust.
