I noticed that there is no parts catalogue on the porsche website for the 993 GT2, whereas there is for the 959. Is that because it is no longer supported or some other reason? I had guessed it was basically a race car homologation special (as was the 959??) so maybe parts are still supplied, but by the racing department? Anyone know the score? It seems that an ex-race GT2 can be had for less than a 997 GT3 or a TT, so it ought to be worth converting to road spec, but could be a problem if no parts supply... (you can see i am dreaming here :| )

GT2 is a 993 derivative so doesnt have its own PET

959 is a model line in its own right so has its own PET Catalogue

I'd guess its probably a bigger job than it might seem at first glance, and expensive.

Another problem would be that whilst race cars look great they usually fall way beolw road car standards in terms of panel fit and paint etc,

simon - just fantastic.

...and that picture illustrates my point - that wing and wheel-arch extensions don't seem to be listed in the 993 spares catalogue?
