How many were actually produced, becos they seem damn common to me. So was it Sundeep or Richard heading east on the M4 between Slough & Langley about 4;30 Friday?

Seriously does anyone have the production numbers by colour for the Mk2's, seen the figure for Mk1's. It does seem that there are far more SY's around than GR, which does seem surprising.

Going to sound like I was stalking you but I must have been 10-15 minutes ahead as I saw the SY MKII in the roadworks just west of the A329M. There was also another one going south near Shalford in Surrey earlier in the afternoon.

I have seen more GR ones in Scotland.

Rob, I think damn common is word misuse - I think those who know their yellows from their reds would be a more likely reason why there is more.

IF its junction 11 of the M25 upto J16 M25 or M4 slough way then its probably me. Being useed every day at the moment.

Also went to see another SY one at RSJ slough and a silver one which had just come in - just being nosey. I think we are the only ones with nice soft leather seats by the way.

Porsche GB only sold 103 cars in the UK. Not sure where the other 3 RHD cars were delivered to.

so the 'rough' maths of the Mk2, based on Mk1 colours splits mean 55 Mk2 SY Gt3's plus the 16 Mk1's = 71

Not only is SY common as muck but I have it on good authority it is the slowest and the colour most likely to be driven by a big girl.

Guards red on the other hand is so quick it blurs your vision and driven by real men.

Black with orange wheels is just pure sex but also likely to be driven into by complete nobsocks in Saabs....

Sundeep, I noticed that you don't quote 2005 figures - I know for a fact that Porsche Japan imported lots of 2005 cars. In fact, they had 23 2005 GT3's left well into MY2005 which they were offering huge discounts on (up to GBP 12,000 offf)

Call me shallow Hal, but the last thing you want or I would want in a SY GT3 is a big girl.

Motto being - If they aint slim - they aint coming in !!
