I have just had an OPC Report back and brake discs came up. 80% used.

They say I have to get these replaced before they will give me a warranty even though the brakes would not be covered under the warranty anyway.

What is that all about???

God only knows, sounds like nonsense to me.....

It might be because you could damage some of the other parts of the brakes that are covered. Either way, it sounds like they need to be done anyway. Get them done at a good indie though, much cheaper.

Have just checked and it is one of the things on the 111 point check.

But if I now take the car to an indy and try to go back there, will they make me do another inspection?

They didn't with me, you have 7 days to fix the items on the list and then they do a quick check and put the warranty on it. Well they did for me anyway.

Warranty has to be issued now on the day that the CTI is done. If you have the work done elsewhere, then the CTI charge will be applicable again.

If the work is done at the Porsche dealer, then they will have to re CTI the car, but should waiver the cost of the second CTI
