Thats the ones Mark, the shorter version that nornally goes with the matching leather/Alloy habdbrake lever. Like the one on yhe black 996 C2 youve got on your website.

Design 911 did me a cracking deal on a carbon fibre gearknob, far cheaper than Carnewal

How do you get the old ones off?

Been thinking about this for a while but someone told me it was difficult!

Dunno- I paid my local specialist 1.5hrs labour to do the Xenons and the gearstick.

£70 well spent with my track record in DIY.

The gear lever is a dodle to change don't even need to remove the centre console, just undo the clips around the base to release the gaitor and then a strong upwards pull to remove the gear lever.

check there isn't a sneaky grub screw holding the old one on there shouldn't be if its the standard one.

Think the techeqipment one may have a grub screw.

That it does! The only problem you have to avoid when changing your knob is making sure you don't hit yourself in the face....double entendres at the ready!!!!
