Anyone got a 2002 911 brochure?

I have a 2002 C4S with Bose, and was wondering if someone could tell me from their brochure exactly what this gave you in terms of speakers, amps etc.

Many thanks,

Rob.

According to the brochure...

1 x 100W switching amp with 5 additional 25W linear amps.

12 speakers in the coupe, 11 in the cab and Targa, comprising:

2 tweeters and 2 mid-range in the dash.

2 low-mid-range speakers in 5.5L enclosures in the doors.

2 low-range in a 13.8L anti-vibration bass enclosure behind the rear seats (footwell in cab/Targa).

Additional pair of tweeters and mid-range in the rear side panels.

I impressed you had that to hand - mine is in the house somewhere.

Don't worry- I've got the pics off the dealers website of my forthcoming C4S and a brochure which I read before I go to sleep!

I have to admit when I got my GT3, I had to check the manual to work out how to open the petrol flap
and there is no switch ala 993

Have you read Paul Frere's book "Original Porsche 911" - more info than you could shake a stick at!

Actually, how do you open a 996 filler flap?

Hi,

How does this compare with the non bose set up?? I have the normal speakers with the CDR23 in my 03 C4S,

Alan.

The C4S came as standard with the speaker upgrades and a better amp. Less speakers than the Bose, and no audiopilot noise compensation but sounded very good to me in ones I've tried.

So, how do you operate a 996 fuel filler flap?

You just press it and it opens. I think it is locked by the central locking (Can't be 100% sure on that though).

Yep, just press on the cover, towards the front of the car.
It is connected to the central locking and a pin comes across to hold it shut, so the car needs to be unlocked.
