Has anyone here had any experience of bringing a UK spec car from Germany to GB?

What are the potential pitfalls or benefits besides the cost price of course?

Personally I wouldn't, just because I couldn't be bothered with the hassle. I'd probably be thinking about resale to. I know when I had my R32 a few people bought them from abroad but it never appealed to me. If you've got the cash in your pocket there is always someone in the UK who needs to dump a car quickly, so if you look hard enough you'll probably find a bargain.

can be done (i've done it twice) but right now LHD prices are better here if you find on 'privately'

but you need to save a serious wedge
