What do you guys think of this one?

Immaculate Porsche 911 4S (2002)

Seems pricey for a private sale but do the low miles & condition justify that price tag? Not many options/extras either.

Gary

Hi Daz,

As I couldn't prise your baby off you, I've got to look at lesser alternatives now ;)

Gary

Nice colour, but as Daz says it isn't a great spec. Good luck in your hunting!

Cheers!

Personally not too bothered by the lack of extras (should I be?)...just wondering if it was a fair price as it stands?

All thoughts/input greatly appreciated...keep 'em coming...

Why buy a copy when the Turbo can be had for very similar money?

Thats crazy talk. Most people break themselves in with an SC, 3.2 or 964. Compared to them I recon the 996 turbo is a pussycat to handle.

If I had that sort of money to spend on a 911, the 996 turbo would be the holy grail. At least take one out and see what you think.

Jay,

996 Turbo, same year and spec and milage, apples for apples, still normally 3 - 5k dearer than a C4S.

Wonder why not soo popular, given that it was 30k more brand new.

Following reasons,

Not as pretty as a C4S

A lot dearer to run

A lot heavier on fuel

Far higher on insurence

It would seem a bargain, however there is not the demand out there for Turbos that there is for C4S's,

When I put up that I might sell mine, I had many PM messages from people interested in purchase.

Oi, thats a bit harsh even if it is true.

Actually think I might get my uber-hairdressers wagon, a nice Turbo S Cab Tip, in cobalt blue, with a nice cream leather interior. Laughing
