just got a 996 C4 2001 last week but only just had it insured yest!! As with many people this was really a dream come true!!
it has full service hist and is @40000Miles

only had it hpi'd and hoped for the best!! looked at some threads here and although many ppl said to get it inspected some said as long as theres service history it shouldnt really be a prob!!

hopefully i dont have problems and will surely ask many more q's here !!

need a good place to get it serviced (cheap) in london if anyone can help!!

Welcome! Porsche and cheap servicing? Now there's an oxymoron if I ever heard one! Lots of votes on here for JZM, but a little way out of London and certainly not cheap, although very thorough.

Follow these simple steps and you'll be fine:

1. Floor it when you can
2. Smile like Tom "sh*t eating grin" Cruise

Find out where the nearest petrol station is, :wink:

im only getting 150 miles out of a tank tops, averaging 13-16 mpg on a daily London citi driving commute, but i do floor it when i get chance;~)

Bloody 'ell heard these tips drink petrol like fish, but thats ridiculous!

i think im ok with the smile even without having even drivin it properly yet!! all i want to do is drive it all day and not come to work ;-)

Don't let that scare you, I get 25 mpg on average (mostly motorway).

hi,

errr...need to take some pics overthe weekend - once i have il post them !!

the car is a 996 blue carbrio C4 with tan leather!! the contrast of the two colours really set it off (well i would say that)!! 2001 plate with 40k FSH.

weather hasnt been to great so havent had the hood down :-( (please be good for the weekend)
