Burning oil smell

Guys

need some advice. Just had a short spirited drive in the car (30 minutes or so). After I stopped the smell of burning oil was really quite bad.

I've recently had the RMS replaced under warranty and wonder if this could just be the remnants of the oil burning off the engine?? or should I be more worried?

Going near to the supplying OPC tomorrow and wonder whether it's worth my time to divert to them to get the car checked...
