Urgent 993 Brake Issue

Changing the rear brake pads on my Carrera 4S (Turbo Brakes) is giving me problems. I have 2 packs of anti-squeal shims (4 in each) that stick to the back of each pad. These in turn locate into holes in the centre of the pistons with a circular spring clip. The problem is that one pack push-fit easily into upper or lower piston, but other pack appears to have a larger diameter caliper-piston clip. Both pistons have identical size holes, and previous owner/mechanic didn’t even bother to refit them (so have nothing to compare with…).

Have I got the right parts? Do you have to use brute-force to fit larger clips? Which are top and bottom?

Don’t want to refit wrongly or leave them off again as brakes were squealing really badly without them.

Help!!
