depends on the ET offset

is yours a narrow body car ?

Dan, for your narrow body 993 you will need ET52 for the fronts and ET65 for the rears. 996 narrow body offsets for 8" fronts were 50mm and 10" rears were 65mm. But both 50 and 52 will work for the fronts on a 993

Boxster used the same fronts but ET47 rears for 10" wides. You can use spacers on a 911 wheel to fit a Boxster (but not the other way around).

These ones would work

Thanks,

She is a narrow body vehicle, and I just would like to change to look a bit different

17" or 18" (wouls I need to have a wheel allignment, changing to bigger wheels?)

putting on 18's is as simple as putting them on !

reduced tyre profile allows for larger wheel

Cheers Sundeep, do you know what size to go down to ?

fronts from 17" set of 205/15/17 they become 225/40/18 for the 18's

on the rears from the 17" set of 255/40/17 they become 265/35/18 on 18's

for the Narrow body 993 (difference only on the rear) as Wide Body can take 285/30/18's !

What would we all do without you ?

Hi Am going to look at a set of 993 Turbo alloys,

there have the right tyre size's and ET numbers front and rear,

But...

Cos there from a turbo, will they be ok for my narrow body 993 ?

Dan :?

If they are taken off a Turbo, the rears will have different ET's (40) from what you need (65) for your narrow body. If the ET's are correct for a narrow body then they aren't orignally off a Turbo!

Those ET's are for 10" Rear's by the way.

I assume you mean 'Turbo style' wheels Dan, i.e. with the twisted spokes? You see plenty of narrow body cars with them on so there must be a set which fit fine!

I have been told there off a Turbo !!

But the ET is-

ET52 front + ET 65 Rear !!

So I am thinking there fit ?

Dan

no matter what car they came off.. although a rear wide body Turbo iirc has an ETin the 40's....

as long as the ET at the rear is 65 it will fit...
