finally....

pics of the Full Tech Art Brake Colling Duct kit that I had recently fitted....

it's a set up from the basic Turbo S oil cooling ducts, in that hoses feed cold air to the brakes, whilst keeping both the fog & side lights combo...

all in all £750 in all fitting

pics were done quickly today, as it was getting dark with rain... so I've done the best I could !

new front view...

as for the plate.. I'll come onto that in another post !

the left side..

and then the right side...

and finally the front protection bar..

the bar at the bottom in the middle...

to help against the london pot-holes and grass cutting trips on track days...

Very nice, must start saving up for the cooling duct. Will see if my brakes are holding up this yr on the track. Hopefully with better driving the brakes would heat up less.

Cool - and not just the brakes...

Mind you, think you're getting your L and R confused...

But they're great pics, despite your concerns over the light. And I can't tell where Arorfend begins/ends. Impressed.

just did Castle Coombe over saturday afternoon... although missed out on the morning as I HAD ANOTHER OIL LEAK.. will get to that later !

got in 6 session, from about 6 to 10 laps each and the last one, with the brakes already up to speed was a 15 lap session...

conclusion .. techart brake cooling ducts = WORK ! no need for Turbo brakes !

where did you get the kit from? Can you also confirm that you still have the side light and fog light.

regards

Perry

Perry, you can get the kit from D911, or Tech9 who import the Techart stuff into the UK. Make sure you are sitting down for the price, it's a truly horrendous amount! Surprised

The lamp has both foglight and sidelight (the small bulb is visible in the top corner of the lamp).

I recently bought a second hand set off eBay, and that was not exactly cheap!

I asked him for a group buy price, as they are just so expensive, got to get the price down somehow! Once I have a price I'll post it up here and see how we get on.

This is definately the kit to go for, if you fit the cheaper "Turbo S" ducts you end up with a switch on the dash not working, ie front fog switch as the T4S doesn't have this.

If anyone is interested PM me.

regards

Perry

tbh after fitting the HiD's my Front Fogs are pretty much redundant..........so i wouldn't miss them................how much are the Turbo S ones out of interest?

TBH mate I went for these for cosmetic reasons! I think the original foglight unit looks too long.

yeah thats my main train of thought...........the front fog/side lights just don't do it for me either, but then either of those brake ducts do.......btw where did you say you got those front sidelight bulbs from again mate?

www.powerbulbs.co.uk

Philips blue vision T4W bulbs. OE spec but deliver a white light as opposed to the yellow offering of the originals!

I've got the Techart brake coolers with fog lights on my 964, but I'm missing one of the deflectors. Anyone know if these can be bought separately?

I can't even see the entire Techart units for a 964 on D911.

Try Tech9 in Liverpool Bri. They're the UK importers.

I spoke to Tech-9 and it is not possible to buy the 'diverters' separately and the complete 964 units are 500+. So, I'll continue looking.

That price doesn't surprise me Bri, their prices are ridiculous.
