... like me and leave your engine lid of your 993 not properly shut after you've done an oil check. The light that stays on drains the battery (see 'Battery' threads).

Which is why my pride and joy was dead when I turned the key on Saturday. What a wonderful moment when I turned the key again today after a spot of battery charging...

Course, you all knew that. And so did I... But a mistake I'll be aiming to avoid in future... :(

How weird - I just had the same happen to me. Alarm kept going off and couldn't figure out why - then my brother in law noticed the engine cover wasn't shut properly. Oops!! Luckily it didn't flatten the battery!!!!
