Call Peter Morgan and see if he will come out that far :

Well a little further out just on the other side of M25 is JZ Machtech at Kings Langley.

Then maybe PK sport

Peter Morgan is first choice then lots of us use JZM to work on our cars and I recommend them.

I have not used PK and do not know if they inspect but they are in the area....... I met Mike in the Pits and at the PCGB BBQ at LeMans last year - nice chap but I do not know anyone who has had a road car at his place..

Should be OK for Peter Morgan.

JZ v thorough (nit picking from dealer's viewpoint?) but car has to go there, no some dealers not keen on that.

Tognola Engineering in Datchet I've heard are good.

I've heard Chelsea Carrera spoken highly of, but not sure if they do PPIs.

This a private sale or HWM?

Its a private sale. I am told Jaz are quite near, anyone used them for an ispection. Thanks

I have not used Jaz but you should seriously try Peter Morgan first - he is the man and he loves the 993.

Would love to use Peter as I have spoken to him and he has been very helpful, but vendor has no facility that would be suitable for an inspection, I think he would prefer it to go to a local garage.

Then I would try and get him to take it to JZM - and get the seller to pay for it and split it 50/50 if you buy it. Any serious purchaser will want an inspection thats your case. Its a buyers market.......

Worked for me
. Got my private seller in Edinburgh to arrange and take the car to a dealer for an inspection while I was down South. I had flown up to see it first though.. Got £1000's off at the original negotiation subject to inspection and then more knocked off when the inspection results came through....

Peter Morgan did my PPI and did a very thorough job. I would try to find a way to accomodate him if possible. He inpected mine without access to garage facilities.

Yes, Peter Morgan travels and doesn't need 'a pro garage'. He did my PPI. So far no complaints...

AND he's v knowledgeable/v straight.
