Hi new 996C4S Owner here, looking for some sound (excuse the pun) advise on what exhaust to have on my 52 plate 996C4S.

So far the only ones I can see available are the Maxiflo and the Gemballa.

How good are these and are there any more out the that I'm missing?

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Oh if you know anyone who may be selling one, please let me know.

Thanks

Fran

Fran - my advise would be go for the official Porsche Sports Exhaust, it will be better when selling your car, sounds magnificent and because it's Porsche - you know about the quality....

Fran,

I've got a 996 C4S and the one option everybody told me to get was the sports exhaust. The noise is fantastic. Definately get the Porsche one.

Thanks for the advise, do you have an idea of the cost for the Porsche one?

I think Porsche quote around £1,400-£1,600 fitted ex vat. One of the specialists would probably be a good deal cheaper, they can source original Porsche parts...

...e.g. Strasse in Leeds.

I have the Porsche sports exhaust - i is grin inducingly loud - you should see peoples faces in the mirrors in the Blackwall / rotherhithe / Dartfird tunnels trying to see what the hell is coming up behind them so loud!!

I love it!
