Anyone got any ideas ? Heres what happened:

left the porsche standing a few weeks.

came back to it , flat battery.

re-charged battery.

spins over but wont fire up.

fitted new battery , spins over, still dead.

noticed all lights are on the dash (bulb check) but dont know if theya re supposed to extinquish a few moments after ignition is on?

leads me to think the computer has a fault, as all lights on dash stay stuck on.

fuel gauge reads 1/4 tank btw.

OR do the lamps only go out when the engine actually fires up?

help its stuck in the drive !! you tried pushing these things????

arrrrrrr

many thanks

pete

Without sounding sarcastic, you could always join one of the motoring organisations, AA, RAC, Greenflag etc and get homestart as part of the package. Probably the cheapest diagnosis you'll get. Good luck

no power to relay coil.

relay ok.

what about the shock sensor, where is that located.

(ive just realised there was a massive sonic boom here , it broke windows , could this have triggered the shock sensor)

??

no spark.

i wonder does the inertia switch kill the spark as well as fuel pump?

this sonic boom shook the whole house, so it could have triggered the switch.

otherwise ill have to start looking for ignition faults.

any ideas where to strat? the immobiliser was fittted by a pro , but ripped out when it failed by a cowboy alarm outfit, i wonder where would the pros have immobilesed the car? on the feed to the management system ?

just trying to think this through.

theonly thinh thats happneed since the car last ran is a sonic boom and a flat battery. ive not touched the car since this . i drove it into the drive, and left it there.
