Got into the car on Monday after leaving it parked up outside my parent’s house for a couple of days in the freezing cold weather.
Car started no problem but my clutch pedal was stuck about an inch from the floor and wouldn’t disengage.
I thought something might be stuck because of the very cold weather so I let the car warm up for about 10 minutes after which time the clutch would just about disengage if I pressed it right to the floor, with the clutch biting as soon as I relaxed my foot.
It was like this for a couple of days until yesterday when I managed to pull the pedal back into position, this sounds an obvious thing to try but it was really stiff and I didn’t want to break anything.
The clutch is now fine with full pressure under the pedal, nothing feels spongy or tight or in any way unusual.
Any ideas?
