At start up it's right, but by the time the engine's warmed up, it starts creeping up. Highest I've seen it was 40 degrees C, which probably isn't right for Berkshire in October. :?

Everything else is fine (apart from I'm driving everywhere too damned quickly!

Anyway, is it likely to be a loose wire or something more technical (read £££)?

Probably a faulty sensor.

Near Henley. Possibility of no connection as the front bumper was off for a respray. To be investigated....

John- why not trundle off the Northway - they will sort it out for you.

Ahh - Henley, one of my old haunts............................

Cheers Warren. If I can't sort it myself, will pop over when I get five minutes....

Sorted. Took the nose off, released the wire which was trapped, fitted it where it should be, refitted the nose. Still preferred it when it was 40 degrees C though... :D
