Any ideas when one will be able to sign up for the 997 turbo? It seems it's due out at the end of 2005, but does anyone know how soon before release the public can sign up?

I think you can send them a 'letter of intent' to buy. That would then get you in the queue, then when its official they'll start asking for deposits. The waiting list is probably already building up to a hefty old size so if you want one I'd suggest acting sooner rather than later. Release could be end of 2006 from what I've heard.
