I am having a problem with the final closing of the roof on my 993 cab.Has anyone had a similar problem and know of a good specialist to fix it ?The fault is intermittant .

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEME IN MY CAB SINCE A FEW DAYS.

BUT NOW IT S NOT WORKINING AT ALL!

SO I TAKE OF THE TWO ENGINE IN THE TOP AND THEY ARE VERY DOMMAGE INSIDE ...

SO I MUST CHANGE THEM...

I THINK YOU LL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEME...

THE ONLY PROBLEME IT S FOR FIND THE NEW ENGINS WITH A INTIGENT PRICE !

SO FOR NOW I STILL SEARCH !

Don't forget there is a recall on all 993 cabs for the locking motors to be replaced free of charge,

the recall letters were sent out feb/ march

Hi, My 993 cab roof would go up but wouldn't go down every time. Often would not close properly & I had to get the screwdriver out... OPC said I needed new roof motors (at the back) and was £1000+. The control box needed seeing to also. Fixed under warranty. Porschapart suggested fitting Boxster motors (with extra wiring loom) as 30% of 993 prices - so if paying for repairs yourself try Porschapart & good local fitter. Mark

I PHONE THIS MORNING TO MY PORSCHE CENTER AND THEY CONFIRME WATH YOU SAID !

THEZ LL CHANGE THE TWO TOP ENGINE OF MY SOFT ROOF AND CHEEK THE ELECTRICAL SYSYTEM...ALL FOR FREE!!!

TKS A LOT !
