Hey there folks, I recently moved to London from Canada. I'm a Porsche fan although I don't currently own one. I've previously owned a 1986 944 and a 2001 996 C4. My long-term plan is to rebuild an early model 911, but I don't have any experience with engine rebuilds yet. I'm a software engineer by trade, but I do have some high-school experience with engines, welding and metal machining.

If there's anybody in the west part of London (from Acton all the way out to Maidenhead, say) whose doing a 911 engine rebuild, I'd love to help out and gain some experience.

Hi Mike

I have a couple of early 911 motors, one just rebuilt, one needing a rebuild. East Sussex is a bit of a trek from West London but I would be happy to be of help.
