993 rear brake light spoiler.....

Does anybody know how the rear spoiler comes apart. Mine came fitted to the car and I now want to fit a the brake light where currently lies a blanking plate. How do I get it apart to put the brake light strip I have aquired inside?

Does the top (painted) surface slide forward or simply prize apart?
