Sold an M2 Competition after a year as I'd never stopped lusting after a 997. Anyway, delighted to be in this manual Gen 2 C4S, and it's booked in to be thoroughly Dinitrol treated which will take a week or so, for all
plastic to be stripped from underside and arches, steam cleaned and then treated everywhere. I have a phobia about corrosion and I live in a rural place where roads are always wet and muddy and nothing (older) can survive without treatment.

Anyway - more interestingly - I'm wondering if anyone on here knows the car it has owned it before? Midnight blue Reg RE58 YUT

Looks like a nice car from a well regarded dealer.... enjoy!

Dinitrol underseal is a sensible idea. Maybe also worth thinking about the front intakes to protect your condensers and rads if you're using it daily in leafy/muddy roads... some fit mesh grilles.

Thanks for all nice comments - attached a few more pics. A little grubby after. 500 mile drive. And yes, Ashgood were fantastic to deal with. Can't recommend them enough.
