Replacing PSE actuator...?

So, my PSE was becoming reluctant to go quiet, only working occasionally.

After poking about, decided to do it properly and I've removed the bumper and heat shield and I found that my OS actuator has become detached from the bracket- the little bolts have rusted through. Unless it's perfectly lined up the rod won't move, but the actuator works ok when held in place.

Fixing it in place with some sort of metal band would be an option, but really I think the best thing to do would be to replace it with a Design Tec one for £45 (assuming it'll fit).

But the question is, how on earth do you get the actuator out from the bracket? I've had a look and can't see an easy way. Surely you don't have to take the silencer off?
