Went to my OPC yesterday and had a look at 4S (991).
Was not that blown away by the interior etc, like the lights, but rest was ok.... still love my 997 C2!
But the reason I went in is I have been considering for a while of moving to a 4 wheel drive - mainly as it is my daily driver and I need it took work through the winter. I end up getting cabs when the roads are icy etc.
The guy at OPC (who I know and has been there for 12 years) - actually suggested that winter tyres on a 2 wheel drive would be more effective (on ice and rain) than summer tyres on a 4. And in fact, said that would make the world of difference.
Kind of talked himself out of a sale - he showed me a YOUTUBE video too which seemed like he knew what he was talking about.
Just wanted to ask what anyone else thought about this - and those that have a 2 - who use Winter tyres - do they make a significant difference?
