Hi,

Just had my renewal..

I'm early 40s.. clean license, safe professional, +10 years NCB with a garage... Car does 10k miles and my sensible blond wife drives occasionally

£505 with the AA sounds expensive non?

Thanks in advance if you can help!

Cheers,
BK :thumb:

I'm about 10 years older than you but that shouldn't make too much difference should it?!

I'm with LV - £300 for 10k miles a year with my wife & I driving. 2003 C4 cabriolet parked on dive. Not garaged.

I'm 48. £270 with Tesco with my mate on as 2nd driver.

Age 54 3/4

£247 with Admiral multicar, cover for a 2004 996 C4S and a 1980 Mercedes 450 SL, 5000 miles per annum each.

Thanks guys. I'll start the process of moving Insurance companies. £505 sounded too much (on principle!). Will post updates of my progress for info.

Specialist insurers like Classicline offer value (probably not lowest price) if what they offer is what you want, e.g. agreed value, included euro breakdown, legal cover, track day cover, you choose who repairs it, no non-Porsche parts etc., but if these things are not important to you, who is cheapest at any given point changes, always worth checking on a comparison site or two.

For our non-Porsche cars in the family, quotemehappy.com (online-only part of Aviva) are usually price competitive, they let you change details on your policy without charge and they don't play the annual jack your premium up game. Direct Line and Aviva themselves aren't on the comparison sites so worth checking with them too.

I'm very similar age, professional, 10+ NCB and paying circa £250 (limited mileage though 5k
