Sitting faulty code
Any one had this ?
I've cleared it but it's come back
Reading on the American forums seems to be a possible BRV
So what's the best ones to replace oem or aftermarket?
There seems to be a few makes on the after market is there any brand highly recommended?

Code seems to indicate a low turbo boost pressure .. you have a turbo i take it ?

This is in the dme control unit ?

What year ?

The actuators can cause issues , ignition on and they will raise and lower as a self check .. you can visually see that if you get someone else to do the ignition on .

Rods can seize or detach .

Fault code seem to be the generic one .. any other numbers or info with the code ?

No idea what BRV means sorry .

Cheers for the reply
I don't suspect it's the turbos as they were rebuilt by turbo dynamics before I brought the car but will check this
The BRV is the blow off recirc valve on the turbo I don't actually know the proper name for it but that's what the yanks were calling it
Quick eBay it's the diverged valve

Ok thats some modified bit and im afraid i always get stuck with items like that .. i just fix standard cars :)

Check the turbo electric actuator though .. that does cause issues and should give a code for low boost pressure .. an air leak or loose pipe would be another cause .

Thanks for the suggestion I will try that before I purchase anything
It's still under warranty so may see what the dealer says as well as I don't want to be chasing something when I don't need to.

Turns out it was a incorrectly seated and secured intercooler pipe what a difference it's made lol
