Hi I am soon to sell my car after 13 years of ownership and have a couple of questions.

1 Porsche service say front discs have 40% life left in them, do you replace?
they seem fine and pass the MOT etc.
The reason i ask is I was once told my tyres needed replacing with 4.5 mm left on them by the OPC :?:

Thanks for your help

I would replace when they are close to the minimum. They sound fine to me.

As above.

If someone said to me you've got 40% of that pint left, do you want another.....I'd say yes. But these are brakes not pints

Unlike tyres, they only have a couple of mm between new and dead. I'd also leave them.
