Hi,had a slight mishap last night.Hit a deer and destroyed the front bumper,rad etc.The car is a 2001 996 narrow body,are the front bumpers the same on all narrow body C2s? Do any forum members have any for sale? Mike.
 
C2 standard bumpers are all the same and cheap enough second hand, respraying it will cost more than the bumper I'd try the specialist breakers for one in good shape in the right colour, eBay also comes up trumps now and again..
 
I'll have one for sale very soon. Next week couple of weeks hopefully. My GT3 bumper is due to be delivered early next week. Currently stuck in Calais due to another French strike!
 
Glad you're ok and the car survived! My missis hit one at 80mph about two years ago, wrote the car off! They're a fair old lump to hit.

Hi all,thanks for the replies.Only damage apart from bumper is aircon condensor,water rad,plastic/rubber ducting.Part no on bumper is 996.505.311.07, lots on ebay but ending in 06. Hi Sackerley pm me details on yours. Mike.

I hit one in my E60 550i and they too wrote the car off. And the deer ran off too :dont know:
 
Hit one in my old Merc. Grille was a bit bent but otherwise fine. They don't build them like they used to.

front bumper

There don,t seem to be many about,lots of gen 2,only found 1 gen 1 on ebay. Any members on here got one for sale? Mike.
 
Bumper

Finally got my car back together after the deer bump. Lots little bits to find,Found all on ebay apart from bumper which Simon Ackerley from the forum supplied. Will get around to painting next month. Mike.
