Reading through all the threads here and seeing another new member pick up a great car recently I thought I'd chance my arm with a want ad.

Ideally I'm looking for a manual 3.4. I'm not fussed if it's C2 or C4. Fairly easy going on colour and options but would prefer a black interior although I could maybe be swayed into grey or red for the right car. Budget is sub 15k.

A bit over budget, but this looks like a lovely early car that came up recently. Swings and roundabouts I guess, you might get a cheaper car which then needs £££ spending on it (man maths alert)...

Thanks. I spotted that one. Looks a great example but I can only swallow £2k over budget if the spec is ideal (ie black interior).

Hello,I have a 2001 996.1 c4 coupe manual, rainforest green, grey extended leather ,102000 miles,fsh.replaced within the last 5000 miles are clutch,flywheel,tyres,pads and discs all round, coffin arms, trailing arms, header tank, top gear rear silencers,water pump low temp thermostat,13500 pm me if of interest,regards David.

My car, so feel free to ask me any questions. There is some wiggle room on the numbers, but i appreciate you have a budget.

I forgot I also had the ims bearing replaced when I had the clutch done.I have the old bearing in a bag.There was nothing wrong with it !!
 
Thanks to all those that replied and those that sent PMs. Following up on 2 cars but no deals agreed as yet.
 
Still on the hunt. Have now decided that a black interior is a must have.

Regrettably I think I'm going to put my '98 manual C2 (Coupe) up for sale (baby on the way, and despite convincing myself it'd be ok as our daily, it really won't be!).

Gutted at the thought of selling it, but needs must.
