Is this a C4S?

That's just a standard Carrera.

Thanks Alex. That's what I thought... I just had a 5% niggle that maybe there was some early version that was different. Poor dealer - he probably doesn't realise.

Yeah I'd value that around £14-£15k.

Someone's paid a few quid to add an S to their rear badge.

I wonder if the dealer paid over the odds by not knowing his Porsches. :?:

Well done for not getting suckered 'heed'. :thumb:

Just emailed dealer stating simply...Not a C4S.

Not holding my breath for a reply....

Did anyone see the Facebook doosh that posted a pic of a C4 recently with the caption 'loving my C4S'

He got roasted

Thanks Alex for posting those pics, just to remind us what a great looking car the 4S is! :cloud9:

Apart from the obvious (to us) external differences it doesnt take much effort to see if the front wheels have a drive shaft going to them!

Ian

The C4 and the C4S both have this.

Am I right in thinking the 996.1 C4 was a narrow bodied car? Like PPBB's 300k miler!

Yes. Both gen 1 & 2 C4 were narrow bodied.
