Window not going down. Cable snapped

My drivers window was making a grinding sound then stopped working. Ive took the door card off and the cable has come off the pulley got twisted and snapped. Ive seen on ebay repair kits with new cables and pulleys or do i need the full mechanism? Also does anyone know if its the same fitment as the 987 boxster 05 onwards?

I used a Boxter kit for mine. Bit of a bastard to put the cable round the last pulley but do-able. Video on utube I think. Retain the metal ratchet as the plastic one is crap! So far OK 3 years on. Cost about £15 if memory serves.
