Having spent far too many hours browsing your excellent forum, it's now time to dive in.
We are currently plotting a return Porsche ownership from a location which seems to be devoid of any dedicated service backup. Living in north Wales at the western end of the beautiful Llyn peninsular in Gwynedd, we are almost closer to OPC Dublin than OPC Chester!
We plan to buy a 997.2 and having browsed the forums we have already worked out where most of the best independent dealers hang out. Distance is not really a concern when purchasing, but finding some sound service options in the same country would seem sensible. We are not ruling out using OPC Chester, but a 200 mile round trip to check on a minor issue would be frustrating and perhaps quite expensive.
Therefore our first post is a call out to any forum members who can recommend a Porsche service indie or just a switched on motor engineer in either Gwynedd or Clwyd. Basically anywhere along or south of the A55 North Wales Expressway corridor. Once we cross the border into England the world would appear to be our oyster!
This one has already defeated Google, so it could be a very big ask indeed.
Fingers crossed
Michael
