992 Tyres?

What rubber do you think the 992 will be delivered on?... Pirelli? Michelin?

Why not ask them. It will be in the bill of materials.

Do they go to that detail?

There has to be a BOM somewhere in the process for every nut, bolt and washer. Can't see why not

The Pirelli's have been awesome on the 991. Really good all round performance, durability, rim protection... and the Pirelli geek performance centre where they ocd change your tyres with velvet tyre levers.

I'd like to try the M PS4's, but I couldn't bear to take my car to a tyre hack that'll muller my sparkly Rims ;)

Looks like Michelin then...

Nice work detective.
I'll take that. Not a huge fan of Pirelli unless it's dry. Either way it's new rears after 4000 miles 😜

That's every 8 weeks for me then 😉

Except it's pot luck to know which set you get put on at the point of build.

UK Cars will be on either Pirelli or Michelin.

Yes, I remember hearing that when I ordered the 991. It would be nice to have a choice but not a big deal either way.
Nice close up of the rims, I'm happy with my choice.

I saw a new 992 in OPC Cambridge and it had Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 3
This would be my favoured tyre after previous experience on them

Same as the Nottingham launch cars... be intriguing to see first customer cars

:?: have you driven in the wet!

All 992 from Porsche uk came with the Goodyear''s ,

All the cars which did the launch meetings and travelled around the uk came with GOODYEARS on from Porsche uk .
In Sweden all the tyres were changed to Michelin as they were not Porsche rated , but it's a touchy subject as they were very tight lipped & tyres were destroyed, I think it's a 1st for 911 to be launched and Goodyear as far as I'm aware ?
Anybody know any different ?
Thanks guys first post :)
