Jimi, It took a while for me to find the one I painted , ended up buying it off German gumtree , most seem to be sold with the timer and are silly money , mine cost about £40 when I finally found it. try all the known Porsche breakers as well as ebay, gumtree etc. also worth trying LA dismantlers in LA as they seem to have everything. to remove it from the dash pull out the centre heating vents and you can access the underside of the chrono from there , there are 2 tabs that need pushing in and it will then just pop off. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I still think fitting a road angel jem into a chrono pod was about the best use of the chrono I have seen

Hiya phill, what i only need is the pod so i can put a digital rev gauge , not fussed for an original chrono cos i think its a big trouble to retrofit it and also the wiring plug wont be inder the dash would it?

That pod and gauge in the picture looks cool!! Also where the pod sits in, is there a large hole? If taken the pod off what does it look like under it? Any pictures available to see?

Cheers phill !!
