Tiptronic error message

I have the dreaded tiptronic error message and flashing indicator lights. Error cancels on restart and only reoccurs if accelerating with any gusto. Transmission fluid level fine, no leaks evident under gearbox and fluid and filter changed18 months ago. Durametric scan reports the P0715 input turbine sensor A and U0104 lost communication with cruise control. From reading the various posts here and several Utube videos the prime candidate is tHe connector plate. Before I attempt the job myself in my rather cramped garage, does anyone have a recommend specialist in the Rutland/Leicester/Peterborough area? And also any recommendations on the beat place to scource the parts.

Car is a 997.1 C2
