Hi guys, if the car came fitted with the factory extinguisher installed was it always on the left hand seat, most online images seem to show it on that side.

The bracket supplied looks like it will only fit one way due to being offset.

Cheers, Paul

Its a C2, I've taken a better look at the parts diagram and there are LHD and RHD brackets, I assume now it fits to the drivers seat as that makes more sense, lean forward and grab it when required.

Just didnt want to pull one seat out to find it fits the other !

me too

Hi
I've just struggled for an hour to retrofit my old one fire ex to the passenger seat of my 981. It has sports seats.
The flaming thing won't fit and it catches the adjuster at the front.
Is UK fitment on the drivers side?
I remember in my 997 it was on the drivers side.
:frustrated:

Yep, mine has a factor fit fire extinguisher fitted under the drivers seat!

Thanks Rob.
Ah well. Passenger back in and I suppose it gives an excuse to hoover the areas I can't normally get to.
Drivers seat next and at least I know the routine.
Not an easy retrofit.
👍🏼
